Exciting events coming up – Independent Fostering agency

Summer is over and the children are now back at school. We are excited to be back at work after the holiday season and have several events coming up that we are keen to let you know about. Rainbow is an Independent Fostering Agency  & one of the largest and most progressive independent foster care agencies in London and the Harrow.

The first is our annual FOSTER CARERS AWARD CEREMONY, which is a chance for us to recognise all the hard work our fantastic foster carers do and for some of you to receive an award.

There will be a free dinner and dance, as well as entertainment. It should be a great night! The date will be 29th November 2015-further details to follow!

The other event will be our CHILDREN’S AWARDS CEREMONY! This will be an opportunity for Social Workers and Foster Carers to nominate a child they feel has worked very hard over the past year. This could be to improve their school grades, make strides in their behaviour or develop their life skills.

The criteria is very open and we are keen to help celebrate our children and young people’s successes in all areas. Awards and gifts will be given out on the day. This will be held on 14th October 2015-further details on the time of the event and how to nominate someone to follow!

We also have several interesting training courses coming up that we would like to let all our carers know about. If you would like to book a space on one of these courses please contact the office on Tel: 0208 427 3355

1. Sexually Harmful Behaviour/Child Sexual Exploitation 23rd September 2015 (North Harrow office)

2. Complex Trauma on 6th October 2015 (Luton office)

3. Children Who Have Been Trafficked/Unaccompanied Minors on 7th October 2015 (North Harrow office)

We look forward to seeing you there!
